OwnAd is a Web3 platform that turns each NFT into a rentable ad surface. Holders earn passive yield from displayed ads while creators reach their collector base directly. Built at ETHIndia 2022; won Worldcoin and Push Protocol prize tracks.

The problem

Three things break for NFT communities at the same time:

Reachability. Creators can't reliably reach the followers who already hold their NFTs.
Engagement. NFTs sit static in wallets with no ongoing interaction loop.
Growth. Holders earn nothing from an NFT unless they sell it.

How it works

Each NFT becomes a dynamic ad slot. Holders rent out the visual surface of their NFT to advertisers and earn passive yield. Creators get a direct broadcast channel to their existing collector base without going through marketplace intermediaries.

A sticky ad position is standardized so the ad renders consistently across whichever marketplace displays the NFT. Sequential URL generation per minted token gives each NFT its own auto-provisioned ad endpoint. UI and provider versions are pinned for cross-marketplace compatibility.

Worldcoin and Push Protocol were the qualifying prize tracks, used for sybil-resistant identity and engagement notifications respectively.
